My room has a theme that I’m almost finished putting together. Pink, green, cream and metallic gold. I’ll post pictures in an interior decorating subreddit when it all comes together!
1. Fiddle-leaf Fig
The Ficus Lyrata, commonly called the fiddle-leaf fig, is a perfect indoor specimen plant. The plant features very large, heavily veined, and violin-shaped leaves that grow upright on a tall plant. These plants are native to the tropics, where they thrive in very warm and wet conditions.
This makes them somewhat more challenging for the home grower, who is likely to have trouble duplicating these steamy conditions, but they are fortunately relatively tough plants also that can withstand less-than-perfect conditions for a fairly long time.
2. WHITE BIRD OF PARADISE
The highly sought after bird of paradise has been cultivated for nearly 250 years. Their showy flowers resemble a bird in flight, and give them their name. These majestic plants are pictured on the 50 cent rand in their native South Africa and are the floral emblem of Los Angeles. In the wild, they’re pollinated by sunbirds, a group of small birds with brightly colored and iridescent feathers.
3. Prayer Plant
It has a variegated green leaves with dark pink/red stripes. At dusk and all through night this plant folds its leaves in a prayer position (hence the name) and opens it only in the morning. Here it is at night with the folded leaves.

4. Asplenium scolopendrium (Hart’s Tongue Fern)
An easy to grow variety of the native Hart’s Tongue Fern. Characterised by a readily forking stipe and fronds with light crisping at the tips. An elegant and easily grown fern. Will grow in most situations as long as the soil is well drained and in shade. Moisture retentive soils give a very lush look to the fern whilst dry shade will result in slightly smaller plants once established yet still supplying valuable evergreen cover in these difficult spots. Readily grows in dry stone walls, living walls etc.

6. Golden Pothos

It is important to note that this type can grow anywhere near between thirty and fifty feet long and also functions as an air-purifying plant.

11. Polyscias fruticosa
Polyscias fruticosa, or Ming aralia, is a perennial plant, dicot evergreen shrub or dwarf tree native to India. The plant grows fairly slowly but can reach up to 1 to 2 meters in height. The leaves are of a dark green pigment, glossy in texture, and are tripinnate and appear divided.
